Features Overview

Readers

Readers are lay ministers who proclaim the living Word of God at Mass leading others deeper into prayer with Sacred Scripture during the liturgy. To participate in this ministry at CCY, a reader must be a university student, be a fully initiated Catholic, and must have undergone training.

Altar Servers

Altar Servers represent the faithful and directly assist the priest at Mass and at other liturgies such as Solemn Vespers, and Solemn Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. This position is solely reserved for college students.

Music Ministry

Liturgical Music helps to elevate the heart and soul to God at Mass. CCY Music Ministry desires to develop the gifts God has given people, using different styles of music, and instruments.
